Scott Carlson · Founder & trainer

Experience with working and family dogs

Scott has trained dogs for 30 years, including police K9s, IGP and sport dogs, personal-protection dogs, and family companions. He has also spent 28 years in IGP clubs and is a USCA-certified National-Level Helper and Teaching Helper.

His training starts with the dog in front of him: clear communication, a sound foundation, and consistent work for both dog and owner.

Scott's wife, Lindsey Carlson, DVM, is a veterinarian who also trains and competes in IGP with German Shepherds. Board-and-train dogs receive 24/7 care on the family property with a veterinarian on site.
